Two zones closed for Mardi Gras
Parking zones 2 and 42 will be closed from 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, through Tuesday, March 5, for Mardi Gras. All vehicles must be moved out of these zones no later than 1 p.m. on Friday, March 1. Cajun Field closed for Mardi Gras festival

The parking area on the Bertrand Drive side of Cajun Field will not be available for commuter parking on Friday, March 1, because of Le Festival de Mardi Gras á Lafayette. Parking will be available on the north and east sides of the stadium until 5 p.m. Friday, March 1. Use the West Congress Street and Cajundome Boulevard entrances.

All cars parked at Cajun Field must be moved before 5 p.m. Friday. Any vehicle remaining at Cajun Field at 5 p.m. will be towed. Regular commuter parking will resume on Wednesday, March 6.

Bus service changes announced for Mardi Gras
The Office of Transportation Services will suspend bus operations at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1, for the Mardi Gras break. Shuttle service will be available from 7 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, by calling the bus yard at 482-5305 or using the Ride Systems bus tracker app. Full bus service will resume at 7 a.m. Thursday, March 7.
