Cajun Field Closed Nov. 10

Cajun Field will be closed to all commuter parking on Thursday, Nov. 10, because of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football game against Georgia Southern. Commuter parking will be moved to Blackham Coliseum for Thursday only.  

Please note the following changes to commuter parking on Wednesday, Nov. 9, and Thursday, Nov. 10. Regular parking will resume on Friday, Nov. 11.  

Wednesday

• No cars will be allowed to enter Cajun Field without a football parking pass starting at 2 p.m.
• Students with classes starting at 2 p.m. or ending after 2 p.m. may not park at Cajun Field but are encouraged to either park off campus or use one of the hourly parking lots and pay for their time through ParkMobile. ParkMobile parking lots are located at:  

• Girard Park Circle Parking Garage, floors 1-3 only. The cost is $5 for the first two hours. There is a two- hour minimum and each additional hour costs $1.  
• 333 University Ave.: $1.75 per hour with no minimum
• 101 Mildred St.: $1 per hour with no minimum
• 119 W. St. Mary Blvd: $1.75 per hour with no minimum      

Thursday

• All commuter parking will be at Blackham Coliseum. Students may use the entrances from Cajundome Boulevard, Johnston Street or Coliseum Road.  
• The bus stop will be located at the sidewalk at the Cajundome Boulevard entrance.
• University Police officers will be on site to assist with parking.  
• Individuals riding the bus who need to get to or from Bourgeois Hall will have a short walk between Blackham Coliseum and Bourgeois Hall.  
• Parking is not allowed on the sides of the Coliseum Road, the Cabbage Patch lot, at the Print Shop or in employee parking lots on the main campus.
